Otis Rush and his orchestra - Texas Tour Concert - 1957

The poster features an early image of Rush holding a guitar and announces "His First Texas Tour / OTIS RUSH / and his Orchestra / Latest Hits "My Love Will Never Die, "Violent Love", "Love That Woman". Chicago bluesman Otis Rush was a formidable electric guitar player who was a huge influence on numerous guitarists who followed in his footsteps. Indeed, Stevie Ray Vaughan's band was named after the Rush track "Double Trouble". Otis Rush was named by Rolling Stone Magazine at no. 53 in their list of "100 Greatest Guitarists" in 2015.
