James Brown - Macon Coliseum, Macon, Georgia, 1969

“Mr Dynamite” in person played in Macon, GA appearing at Macon Coliseum on Friday, April 11, 1969. It was like a homecoming concert, James Brown wasn’t born in Macon, but he lived there from 1955 to 1963, when he rose from obscurity to the biggest soul singer on the planet. In 1969 the Godfather of Soul charted 10 singles on Billboard magazine's R&B chart, including two #1 R&B hits, "Give It Up Or Turn It A Loose" and "Mother Popcorn”. Next to the posters an AMAZING “Legs” copy of the 1st Press MONO LP "Please, Please Please”, with the rare Narrow KING Label Logo Boxed!!!!
