Aerosmith, Guns n' Roses - Civic Arena, Pittsburgh, PA, Aug. 31, 1988

If treated properly, metal won't rust. Steven Tyler, conceivably the burnout king of the 70's has polished and toughened the metal in his band, Aerosmith, which played at the Civic Arena. GN'R opens for Aerosmith concert and the Aerosmith fans might also hope Guns N’ Roses will not satisfy any “appetite for destruction,” themselves. Guns N’ Roses were that year’s most talked about newcomer on the hard-rock scene. W. Axl Rose, lead singer for Guns N’ Roses, blowed the audience away with “Paradise City” off their latest album, “Appetite for Destruction”, with his support particularly the guitarist Slash.
